Funds from Concessions
Surplus monies that accrue from concession operations at the Hollow would be held in a trust fund up to a point that the interest would provide monies for improvement and maintenance of the Hollow in perpetuity. Monies above that level each year would be used to help maintain other Tennessee State Parks.
Funds from Our Estate
We would like to donate the bulk of our estate to the Trust Fund upon our deaths. Obviously, at the present time, we don't know what this would be. It would depend on what we would receive from the State for our property, what might be required for assisted living, and a nominal amount for some of our surviving nieces and nephews.
Life Estate
If the State of Tennessee decides that this proposal is of interest for the people of Tennessee and decides to purchase said property, Dave Rhyne and his Spouse would be granted Life Estate to live in the home where they now reside. I would also ask to part of the decision making process of developing the Hollow.
